CBL Spring Activities

In addition to camps and activities around town, the CBL has its own springtime suggestions to add. These are activities that you can do outside with friends and family.

Start A Garden:

Gardens are a staple for spring and bring joy, life, and are also a great active hobby! Some easy starter plants range from flowers to vegetables. Some easy spring crops to grow are vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and lettuce. If flowers are more up your alley, you could plant some marigolds, daffodils, or hyacinths. To get started, you can gather your gardening supplies and materials from the following local Goleta nurseries:

Have A Picnic:

Living in Goleta and Santa Barbara means access to some amazing parks, beaches, and hikes that provide the perfect picnic experience. Gather your friends and family to enjoy the sunshine while eating a cutely packaged meal in nature. Some tasty, easy snacks include the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a side of fresh fruit or a dessert like cookies.

The Market has a food truck, multiple vendors, and is a good activity if you’re bored on a Thursday!
